I had an awesome week in New York. Part of me wishes I could stay another two days, so I have an opportunity to meet friends.

As I test Hugo, I’m starting to understand how things work together. I have unanswered questions about how themes work. I tried to use two themes, but they seem to override each other randomly, such that I think it’s better to stick with PaperMod (most number of stars on GitHub) for now. I’m constantly getting suggestions from GitHub Copilot as I write my blog and it’s quite distracting.

My parents and I went out for dim sum at Golden Bay. It was rather nice. The waiters seemed harried; the presentation of some of the food had room for improvement.

Sometimes I try out new things. Sometimes I realize that I should go with what’s popular because I blog so infrequently that I am always forgetting which commands to run to get things to work. ...
